Football instant game

An Italian football pitch, a ball at your feet, and Nonna watching every pass from the stand. Forza Nonna! takes the tension of a crash game and moves the decision to the start. Instead of watching a number climb and reacting in time, you pick the teammate you want to reach before the kick, on one of three routes with low, medium or high risk. Press KICK, the ball travels player to player, and the round is decided at once.

01The mechanics

How it plays.

  1. 01

    WIN HERE

    Tap a player in blue and he calls WIN HERE. Higher up the pitch pays more, but the risk of a tackle grows with every pass. The bar on top shows the chance before you kick.

  2. 02

    KICK

    Press KICK and the ball is passed up the route, player to player. A defender in red can tackle it first. If your teammate gets the ball, he pays his number; a tap skips ahead.

  3. 03

    MAMMA MIA PENALTIES

    A gold star player on your route opens MAMMA MIA PENALTIES: five kicks from the spot, and you pick the corner for each one while Nonna watches from the stand.

02The moment

The ball leaves your boot, slips past the first defender, then the second, and the whole stand holds its breath as it rolls toward the teammate you picked, with Nonna already halfway out of her seat.

How is a round decided?

You choose your teammate before the kick, so there is nothing to time. The pass plays out at once: either it reaches him and pays his number, or a defender tackles it first.

What are the three routes?

LEFT WING, THROUGH THE MIDDLE and RIGHT WING. They differ in length and risk: a teammate further up a route shows a higher number, with more chances for a tackle on the way.
